The aim of the Art 20*30 exhibition is to raise funds for Bayt Abdullah Child hospice through the sale of artwork.
Established and amateurs alike, from all walks of life, have been given a 20 cm by 30 cm canvas on which to create their work. The idea of the exhibition belongs to Thuraya Al-Baqsimi, a renowned Kuwaiti artist, for her belief in the strong relation between art and humanitarian causes.
Each artist donated their masterpiece to Dar Al Funoon and all art work will be sold for 50 KD each. 100% of the proceeds will go to Bayt Abdallah. The target is to raise a minimum of 15,000 KD.
Bayt Abdullah, for those who are not familiar with the project, is aimed at providing personal care in a loving atmosphere to families of children who are terminally ill. The children will be cared for by experts and the place will be surrounded by gardens and balconies. Bayt Abdallah will be located on the Arabian Gulf road.
