Marble Slab Creamery in Bahrain

My good friend, UmAbdlwahab, blogged about Marble Slab in Dubai… Tonight at Seef Mall in Bahrain I happened to see it there and was able to taste the “freshest ice cream on earth”. It was amazing. I love how they actually made it right in front of your eyes. It also tasted really nice, I ordered the Willy Wonka, which consisted of Double Dark Chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and fudge. I wanted to add cookie dough, but I thought that was enough. It was mixed on a very clean surface using a heavy spatula and ice cream scooper, just like in the picture, and then it was served in a cone dipped in white chocolate. You can, of course, choose whichever flavor and cone dipping you want.

All in all, I am glad I had the opportunity to try it out, I loved it. I am hoping they would open in Kuwait, but then again, we probably have too many ice cream parlors and the sugar intake would just kill us. They do have sugar-free ice cream, but I couldn’t resist missing out on the dark chocolate!

Heheh, I was gonna bring you something for Eid!!! Sadly, I had a morning flight and of course the shop was closed (Ramadan Hours)! Inshallah on my next trip

Repeat after me: Nothing beats Ethiopia’s ice cream. Nothing.

Seriously though, Ethiopia’s ice cream is all made fresh from fruits that haven’t been ‘altered’ by chemicals and pesticides. It has this amazing and incredible taste that feels so good. After that kind of taste, all ice cream seems… fake.

This is all IMHO - so people who made the Marble Slab place, don’t feel hurt. Please

It will be coming to Kuwait in due time! It originated in the states with a company called Coldstone which is really good!

I usually like Strawberry Icecream with fresh strawberries and they make the best milkshakes!!!!

Cold Stone is unbelievable, I didn’t know they were behind this! Hmm, now that you think about it, they do have the same design concepts and style in both shops.

I will be sure to try out their shakes!
